Thank you for
choosing Commercial Hockey Club for your function. We are a volunteer Club and appreciate your
patronage.
The following are the
rules for the hire our Clubhouse facilities.
1.
All guests must leave the premises by 11pm.
The bar will be closed at 10.30
to allow guests to arrange transport and finish beverages. Please make ensure all guests are aware of
our Good
Neighbour Policy and that they take care not to disturb anyone when
leaving the premises.
2.
Alcohol must not to be taken outside of the Clubhouse.
3.
All decorations must be taken down and removed from the Clubhouse
at the end of the function. All gifts
must also be removed.
4.
All music must be approved by the Club. Live music is not allowed and recorded music
must be at a volume level that does not disturb our neighbours. The volunteer Club staff on duty at the
function will monitor the music and they will turn down the music if the volume
level is excessive.
5.
You will be responsible to pay for:
(a)
breakages
of glasses or kitchen equipment or furniture etc; and
(b)
any
damage to the Clubhouse.
6.
If the kitchen is used it must be cleaned before end of
the function; including washing up and putting away utensils, plates and cups. The stoves, BBQ plates and deep fryers must
be cleaned and the dishwasher (if used) must be emptied.
7.
Our Clubhouse is a fully non-smoking venue. Outdoor
smoking areas have been allocated for the comfort of our members and guests.
8.
You and your guests must treat our volunteer staff with
respect.
9.
Responsible Service
of Alcohol: The Club does not serve beverages to
minors. It is solely the responsibility
of the parents or guardians to make sure minors do not obtain or drink alcoholic
beverages. Guardians and Parents must be
present at the time of the function.
If requested all guests must be able to
provide a form of ID. If the guest does
not have the appropriate identification, they will be considered to be a
minor. If a minor is found consuming
alcoholic beverages, the Club reserves the right to terminate the function
immediately.
As a licensed venue our Club is bound to adhere
to the Liquor Act of 1992 and we
cannot permit alcohol to be bought onto our licensed premises. We have limited alcohol for sale and do not
buy in any special requests.
You will be responsible for the consumption
of alcoholic beverages by your guests.
However, the Club may in its sole discretion, refuse service to any
guest for any reason.
10.
The Club may require a
Bond of $500 to be prepaid for events such as Bucks nights.
11.
The Club reserves the right to terminate the function if the behaviour of your guests
breaches these terms and conditions or if any activities are illegal, noisy or
offensive.
Please feel free to
email any questions you may have before your function. All requests will be considered but must
receive prior approval of the Commercial Hockey Club Management Committee.
