2024 Season

Happy new year to everyone and welcome to the 2024 hockey season.

We are needing to prepare for the upcoming season, so we are trying to ascertain numbers for this coming season. Depending on numbers, we are hoping to have 4 teams again this season DP1 x 2, DP2, and DP3. Please understand that 2 DP1 teams is not our choice but a decision that has been made by BWHA.

We are sending this email in case you were wanting to return to hockey this season. If you are interested in playing this season, can you please let me know either by replying to this email.

Depending on numbers there may have to be to be some shuffling between teams but if you have a strong preference to play in a particular division can you let me know as well.

We are still finalising field availability for trials, but tentative dates are Sunday 4th February and Saturday 17th February.

Our fixtures will start Saturday 23rd March, so would like to have teams finalised by the end of February to allow teams a few weeks to train together before fixtures start.

BWHA will be holding the annual working bee on Saturday 16th March. We have the upstairs bar and toilets.
